Wow, so this year has been SUPER hectic!!! With the hubs overseas, life has sure been hard to keep up with. Not to mention sprinkled in with me and the boy taking turns getting sick. Definitely NOT a good time!!! Just wanted to let you know that I am still around (even though not as much as I'd like) but I have some stuff in the works. DSDI's Alphabet Soup and Birthday Bash

Aloha!
I am hosting September's Alphabet Soup challenge at DSDI, so stop on over and play along with me! Details can be found HERE. I was challenged by my fellow scrappers to create a LO with an ukulele using this month's letter "U". I accepted the challenge happily and this is what I came up with:



What do you think? Do you think the hubs will be upset that I used these photos for my LO? ahahaha Oh well, I sent him a copy. Hopefully it'll make him smile during his deployment!

It's been awhile and a SALE!

Aloha!
I know, I've been a bad blogger!!!! We are on vacation right now visiting family, and I'm sneaking in a blog post before DH and DS wake up. These past few months have been super crazy and I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. Let me catch you up to speed with what has been going on. Our time in Hawaii had come to an end and DH was relocated to Fort Lewis, WA. Let me tell you, this had been probably the most frustrating move we've had to do. Our household goods were all mixed up, adjusting to the time change, getting internet connection hooked up and then it going in and out had been hectic. Not to mention DS adjusting to a new school and making new friends. But I think it's safe to say, things have finally simmered down and we are into a daily routine.

With that being said, I have made a couple adjustments, and am now an EXCLUSIVE designer at Digi Scraps Drive In! YAY!!! Of course I had to celebrate in some way. So since I have been on hiatus, I wanted to make it up to you all with a 40% off Re-Grand Opening sale to my store!!!! Keep your eyes peeled, as I will be adding some new products to my store in the next couple of days.

I never had the intention of winning (although it would be nice) but more to get some exposure and see what people think of my designs. And I must say, the digi community has been so wonderful! I'm so happy y'all like my stuff! Well, I think the last time I posted was after challenge #2 and we just completed challenge #4, so I believe I need to update with my newest entries right? LOL

DSA's Designer Apprentice

Aloha! Well, Q's back from TDY, Tranq has started school. So what to do with myself? Some of you know that I have been secretly designing for myself. And once in a blue moon, when I get the courage, I share. LOL well, Digiscrapaddicts is having a Designer Apprentice challenge and with the boy at school during the day, I decided to take the plunge and enter. My challenge for week #1 was to create a Spring Kit.
