New Hybrid Goodie For Valentine's Day

Aloha! Love is in the air and Valentine's Day is upon us. I bring to you another hybrid goodie for this very occasion. I used those $1 tin mailboxes you see at Target in the Dollar Section. Now let me tell you, it wasn't easy for me to get those! First of all, we FINALLY got us a Target last March and of course, there is no Dollar section. Don't think it was cost worthy for the corporation to ship the products over here. So, I asked my awesome, wonderful parents if they could brave the tundra weather conditions they've been having and get me some mailboxes. Of course being super as they are, they did!!! I was so excited. My mom called me from the store to ask which colors I wanted, so she snagged about 10 different mailboxes in pink, red, and white, as well as some other $1 goodies. My dad picked up some other supplies for me as well because, well it's cheaper on the mainland. LOL Of course they got some fun arts n crafts stuff for the boy because he LOVES to create as well! (Didn't I tell you they are terrific?!?) I think Dad reads my blog, but not sure if Mom does (I think she's in denial about the whole internet thing! LMAO!)

So I just wanted to say MAHALO NUI LOA Mom & DAD! *muahs* You guys ROCK! I also told them I'd share what I made and here it is:

Hope you all like it! And if you are inspired and want to learn how to make this, check out Connie Prince's Blog HERE and get the scoops!
Until we meet again!

Project 365, Week #1

Aloha! How has the year been going for you all so far? Kev and I have quit smoking and I must admit I'm very proud of Kev for doing so well! (it's easier for me than it is for him!) Lil man has been sick with an allergy cold, but doesn't seem to slow him down any. It drives me nuts tho' because he needs to rest and slow down, it hits him really hard at night. He's all drippy now, but on the mend! (I know you all wanted a visual! LOL)

I've just finished my LO for week #1 and wanted to share with you all:

I had fun putting this together! So how are you all doing with your projects? I'd love to see them, so link me up here so I can check them out. If you're in a rut, you can follow along at GP with Stacy's awesome prompts HERE. Or you can also subscribe to the newsletter HERE. That way you can get it in your emails along with sales, specials, and sometimes coupons!!! That's all for now, I will have some stuff for you shortly. I've been trying to work like a mad woman to pump some LOs out and maybe a couple goodies coming soon! So keep your eyes peeled and thanks for being patient with me!

Until we meet again!

End of a Decade, Project 365, *FREEBIES*

ahhh, can you believe in a couple of days it will be 2010?! Where has the time gone? It seems when I was younger, time went by so S...L...O...W..., and now it feels like I just can't keep up! This year has been a good one for us in the Q household. Kev has been TDY a lot this year and more to come in the following year. Tani and Laura have moved to Hawaii and are expecting a baby girl in April! WOOT! Tranq and I were able to go back home in August for a WHOLE month! I FINALLY met my SIL, Nichole! (Tranq misses her SOOO much!) I've joined not 1, but 2 Creative Teams for some really awesome designers: Connie Prince & Liz(Sweet Digi Scraps). I've recently been asked to be Connie's hybrid girl, so that was super exciting news since I'm really getting into hybrid! Hybrid, for those that don't know is a combo of digital and paper scrapbooking. I am loving it! It's a super way for the boy and I to get together and have some creative F-U-N!

With the new year coming up, anyone want to join me in Project 365? I like to scrapbook my pics, so I am doing a Project 52, where I make a LO of the pics I've taken for the week. It should be awesome fun! And what a great way to chronicle the past year. Remember, it doesn't have to be a significant thing you did that day. Just something that will help you remember about that day and of course journaling! I can't wait to get started on 2010 and have this to pass down to li'l man when he gets older. This is part of my New Year's Resolution, I want to stick with this project for the WHOLE year! (I kind of slacked this year!) So it would be a huge help to stay on track if you all joined in with me! Oh, and the other part of my resolution for Kev and myself is to quit smoking. We could be saving so much money and of course our health too! LOL

Now on to the freebies! As I have mentioned, I am a CT member for Liz and she is holding her 12 Days of Christmas on her BLOG. From December 25-January 4th, She will be giving away goodies on her BLOG. If you miss a day, don't worry, you'll be able to visit her STORE and purchase the prezzie at a discounted price!

Also, don't forget to check out the Creative Sweeties BLOG and find some awesome QP freebies from us! Here are 2 LOs that I have done and made them into Quick Pages for you!

So Check out the Sweeties BLOG and download the QPs for FREE!!! Don't forget to leave some love! (Because we all need some luvin' in our lives!)

Until we meet again!
